The CoBuild Summit and Tracks
Join us for the capstone event of our formation year—the CoBuild Summit. This is where Montana’s builders, founders, and community leaders will gather to share knowledge, celebrate progress, and formally launch our statewide cooperative.
The Summit is more than just a conference; it is a foundational moment for Montana’s community-owned economy. It represents the culmination of a year spent building our programs, our platform, and our cooperative structure. Over two days, we will connect in person and virtually through our digital campus, Venture Commons, to lay the groundwork for a more resilient and equitable future. This is your invitation to be part of it.
Dates & Format
Octover or November 2026, exact dates TBD.
The CoBuild Summit is designed as a hybrid event to ensure statewide accessibility. The in-person gathering will take place at a Montana location to be announced soon, offering invaluable opportunities for face-to-face connection and collaboration.
For those who cannot join in person, our digital campus, Venture Commons, will provide a rich, interactive experience. Virtual attendees will have access to all keynote sessions, select workshops, and a digital Partner Expo, allowing for meaningful participation from anywhere in the state. Our goal is to bring our entire community together, regardless of geography.
Who It’s For
The Summit is a multistakeholder event designed for every participant in Montana’s builder ecosystem. It provides a unique opportunity for connection, learning, and collaboration across sectors. You should attend if you are a:

Governance Milestones
The Summit is not just an event; it is the official launch of CoBuild Montana as a member-owned cooperative. Our formation year members will come together to formalize our shared future through several key governance milestones. This is where our structure becomes real, and every member has a voice.
Key activities will include:
Ratifying our permanent bylaws.
Electing our first member-led Board of Directors.
Kicking off the conversion of formation memberships into cooperative shares.
Your participation in these sessions is vital to ensuring our cooperative is truly governed by and for the community it serves.
