Discover & Validate
Participants identify promising ideas rooted in community needs. Using our values checklist, they set tangible goals and develop initial concepts through mentorship and rapid experiments.

Build & Prove
Validated ideas become operational pilots. Ventures gather early evidence and document progress through concise updates at the end of each sprint.

Launch
Ventures establish inclusive governance and operational plans anchored in our Shared Standards, demonstrating readiness through transparent decision-making and documented results.

Scale & Stewardship
With core systems in place, ventures grow with the support of shared services and peer mentorship, strengthening the entire CoBuild network.

Future Build
Future Build is a collaborative community project hosted at the University of Montana College of Business focused on co-creating an adaptable neighborhood system that embodies sustainability, cooperative enterprises, and a respectful integration of cultural perspectives. Teams in and around Missoula and the region will design and prototype this model, blending traditional knowledge with innovative approaches for real-world impact.
CoBuild Community
The CoBuild Community invites participants from across Montana to engage in learning about cooperative ventures. Members contribute by testing tools, offering feedback, and participating in collaborative sprints, surveys, and pilot tasks as they emerge during the formation year.
These efforts will help refine our collective approach and lay the groundwork for future growth.
